Bluebonnet Village Vodcast
Let’s see if this allows us to put Cobe's vodcasts into our blog.
Click the play button above to watch Bluebonnet Village Vodcast.
It is a large file (takes a little while to load with dial-up) and requires Quicktime (if you get an error or red X instead of the video window).

That was awesome, Cobe. I wish I were artsy fartsy. Nice job with the video. I for one appreciate all of the hard work you have put into creating the Village.

thank you.
I want to know how you were able to post the file here. I tried a couple of different ways, but had no luck whatsoever.

I used the embed code from html. I brought up your page you linked to and viewed your source code so I would have the target address of the video file, so it is still using your bandwidth at the moment. See if you can log in to Blogger and "Edit" that post. You can see the code listed there as part of the post. If not let me know and I will email it to you. We'll have to play with the video size to see which is the best fit to stay within the boundaries of the blog column. It will make it download quicker as well. Then we can always create a larger size of the videos for sharing at conferences and such. Nice work, though. When my laptop (MacBook) finally comes in I hope to get up to speed with iWeb so I can help you out more. Maybe we can meet one of these days and compare notes for what comes next. Are you going to NCTE in Nashville?

By the way, you can also use the embed code for audio files that you might want others to be able to click on and listen to from the site. Works pretty much the same.

I uploaded the original vodcast, not the movie version, to my website and changed the embed code a bit to link to the vodcast.
Now the size is manageable.
I'm excited to hear that you are going for the MacBook Pro. It's what I have, and I love it!!!
I don't think I'll make it to Nashville, but I'm sure Jeannine will get us together sooner or later.
Thanks for the Info.

It looks much better now. Thanks for taking care of that.
I see you can pick up this HTML stuff pretty quickly. That is handy, for sure. It is not an easy thing to teach. It is one of those things where you can never know all of it but you can look at what others are doing and just "get" it.
